Need #3: A New Dining Hall
- In 2022, nearly 1,200 children registered for Kids’ Camp.
- We average about 1,000 registered campers at any given Kids camp or Youth camp.
- Our current cafeteria is not fully equipped to feed or seat that many at one time resulting in long lines and staggered lunch schedules.
- This is neither efficient nor safe when average temperatures stay in the mid-90s through June and July.
- Our goal is to renovate the existing tabernacle to create a new dining hall & concession
- After the completion of the tabernacle, the existing building will be renovated to become a 900 seat dining hall.
- The renovation will include a state-of-the art commercial kitchen, indoor concession and vending machines.
- Seminar rooms will be created under the existing balcony. Upstairs will facilitate housing for approximately 200 staff and volunteers during camp season.
